Those are by fr the worst bruises I have ever seen. You are lucky to be alive.
If'n Laz were a toddler he'd be getting sent to the toolshed without supper for causing all that mischief and hurties to the TBT ... even bandaids won't help, huh!
You know, I've heard that sometimes people call the Fire Department to get cats out of trees, maybe that would be an option next time ...
:Laz is not the cause of the bruises. Cats climb as any cat lover knows. There was a show on Animal Planet several years ago--"Northwest cat rescuers" or some such title. Those guys had all kinds of equipment on hand before going after a cat.
This old nurse thinks that your ER visit was medically successful, but a total case management failure. They should have realized ahead that you would need 1) help with prescriptions, 2) the walker. and 3) probab, a visit from a nurse to make sure your lungs sounds were OK. I hope someone told you to do deep breathing exercises about ever 2 hours while awake to fend off pneumonia which is the risk with all those broken ribs.
