Thoughts

One less cat to pick up after.

One less bowl to clean.

One less litterbox to empty.

Fewer cans to open.

No meds to provide.

No more hairballs or floor-pee or morning stomach-foam from a sickly cat.

But damn, I would sure accept that all again to have her back on my lap purring...

Iza was as unique a cat as humans are unique.  There will never quite be another "Iza".

But...I am so glad you have a multitude of precious memories to cherish...

Its so hard when you have to put all the things away and reflect on what you used to do...and how much time it all took, but you did it out of your great love...yup,I was empty and wanted nothing more than my Minko back after he passed in 2017...I had hand fed him 3 times a day, and medicated him twice a day, taught the vet how to do it (!), and another sitter,too...I felt kind of robbed...

'sniff...

You're right and that is so true, there will never be another, and it's heartbreaking and so difficult to lose someone (and cats are someones!) we love unconditionally with all of our heart. I am so deeply sorry because even after almost 7 years I'll still never have another Abby and I miss her to this moment. Give yourself some time and be gentle with yourself.

I understand you here to the max. As awful for Admiral as it was the last 4 months...even still I got to see and love her.

Last month, my cable box partially died, so they sent a replacement.  But they wanted the old one back anyway.  The store in town only hand...
