Shave It?

My family (especially on my mother's side, which is the controlling gene) is notorious for the males going bald in their 40s.  I am no exception.

I'm considering just shaving my scalp "Mr. Clean" style.  Quite frankly, what's left is just mostly annoying.  I already wear baseball or straw hats outside anyway (to prevent sunburn).

What do YOU all think?

What is it about your hair that annoys you Mark? Will the time and hassle spent shaving it and keeping it shaved be worth it?

Have you Googled?

I'm not the beard type either. I went grey from the chin up. And they are itchy.

Maybe not quite shave yet. Just have your barber cut it very, very close.

I say do whatever makes you most comfortable.

"What's left is mostly annoying." There's your answer right there.

Shave it. If you don't like it, it'll grow back. Probably.

I started shaving my head when I was 40 for the same reason you are considering it now. If you have an electric razor it is a pretty fast process and you only need to do it about once a month, once a week if you want it to look clean.

My DH says he shaves his head with the electric razor fence on the second lowest setting. He has hair, but it's not long (or annoying).

I say bring the hair back. The cats will thank you for it.

Behind Yardwork

I find it harder to do yardwork these days.  Bad knees, bad back, muscle cramps from gripping tools tightly...  I think I have pushed my bod...
